So what am I missing here

I have a customer who uses info-zip 3.0 on OpenVMS 8.3-1h1 on an Itanium to zip an ascii data file, add a password and ftp it up to an IBM Mainframe (don’t know the model, it’s an MVS system). Th Mainframe boys say the file is corrupted, bad values in the zip header and they can’t unzip using SlickZip on their end.

Now I can unzip this file with no problems on the following, so any ideas?

Window XP SP2

WIndows 7

Windows Server 2003

HP-UX 10 and 11

Red Hat 5.X

Ubuntu 10.*

Sun Solais

OpenVMS 7.x and 8.3 on Alpha and Itanium
